In this day and age, and if you have the money, it is possible to literally have anything made specifically for you and no-one else - from the place you call home right the way down to what you wear on your feet to protect them. But why should you bother? If indeed money is no object, then you'll no doubt want to own something that no-one else has - unless of course you're happy to live a 'normal' life (like the rest of us) and give all your money to the charity of your choice. But there is another not so obvious reason and that is 'health'. We wear braces on our teeth to help them grow in the right direction, so why not buy ladies boots that are crafted for your feet only.
They will fit perfectly and as long as the original measurements were correct, will cause as little damage as possible to the appendages they are designed to protect. There are many people out there that wore 'platform shoes' in the 1970's that now complain of having 'bad feet' - they might well have looked the part and no-one gave it a second thought then, but years down the line the damage is there for all chiropodists to see and keep them from going bankrupt. Needless to say, we should look after all parts of our body as best we can, consequently any made-to measure item will be better than it's off-the-shelf counterpart, albeit at a price.
